The Kraken occupies the space between the known and the unknown, acting as a guardian of thresholds. It emerges from the depths, representing the in-between spaces where transformation occurs. This piece is enhanced with crystal quartz detailing and a repurposed decorative lid.

Sizes vary, and imperfections are likely to be present because of the handmade nature of the piece. Each piece is wheel thrown, trimmed, assembled, fired, glazed, fired, lustred (if gold is present), and fired again. The process takes a month to two months to complete.
